Friday, May 8, 2009: Camp begins at 6 pm
Sunday, May 11, 2009: Camp ends at 2 pm

Capacity:
Goat Camp will be limited to the first 75 campers enrolled withpayment.
*10 campers required as Minimum*

Cost                           
$200.00 per camper which includes meals, T-shirt and stall fees   

Age Requirement:
Enrollment is open to junior age exhibitors 8-18 years old. 

Topics Include:
Showmanship, fitting and clipping, selection, health, management,exercise, training, record keeping, ethics, sportsmanship, nutrition and skill-a-thon practice. 

Auditor/Parents:
*If you plan on staying/participating with your child at camp, you MUST be registered as a Supportive Spectator*
 This includes clinic lectures, meals, and T-shirt.  Supportive Spectator enrollment is available at $75.00 for the weekend.  If you plan to stay or be involved with your child at camp, please fill out the Supportive Spectator Registration Form.

For each group of 5 campers, receive 2 Supportive Spectators FREE 

Lodging:
Campers must be accompanied by an adult chaperone for evening hours at the conclusion of the schedule.

Livestock:
Campers must bring their own goat, but it is critical that the kids are healthy and fat enough to travel and sustain the stress of a weekend camp.
A)  Out of state goats MUST have a certificate of health inspection within 30 days of arrival from a veterinarian.
B)     Campers must supply their own bedding.  Shavings are recommended.
C)    No muzzles or drenching of any kind will be permitted.
D)    Campers must also bring necessary feed, hay, and feeding supplies.
E)     Animals will be under security watch as a patrolman will be on duty after hours.

Livestock Housing:    Shavings available on site at $7.00 per bale 

Equipment:
--trimming stand
--foot trimmers
--clippers (whatever on hand)
--cover-cote/plucking blades/guards for clipping (whatever using)
--show chains
--poodle brush
--soft brush/finishing brush
--can of final bloom
--waterless soap
--towels
--extension cords
                                

What to Bring:
Work clothes, show clothes, tennis shoes, work boots/shoes, sweat shirts, jackets, and specie equipment.

1) Release of Liability
2) Emergency Medical Form
3) Registration Form
All forms are required in order to participate in camp.  No forms, no camp! 

Registration:
1) January 1, 2009 and closes on April 20, 2009 or at capacity.
2) Payment must accompany the registration form in full in order to be guaranteed a spot within the capacity limit.
